Polycarbonate is the material favored by many eyewear manufacturers because it’s light and shatter proof / impact resistant; for eye protection. Unlike glass however, polycarbonate will easily scratch so you do need to take care of the lenses and always keep your sunglasses or eyewear in a case or carry pouch when not in use. Polycarbonate lenses just like any glasses will easy scratch so please take good care of them.
It is recommended to use a clean microfiber cloth or a certified lens cleaning kit. Do not use any solvents or chemicals that are not tested on sunglasses lenses it can possibly damage them.
Our Eco-Acetate sunglasses are made from renewable resources widely present in nature. Derived from cotton seeds and plant matter, Eco-Acetate is recyclable, biodegradable and eco-friendly. Off-cuts from production can also be collected and made into new frames.
Yes it can be recycled just like paper, because it is a polymer made from wood pulp and cotton linters. Old frames and off-cuts can be recycled and made into a new pair of frames. Read More
Yes, our frames have been specifically designed for removing the existing lens and replacing with prescription lenses also our frames have been designed to be light to accommodate heavier lenses. This is best done at your local optician.
